Brief Hiatus Ending

I've been overwhelmed by work and other things during the past week between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, but the brief hiatus will be ending.  I have four cases backed up to write about - significant in various ways, involving HIV treatment in prison, the pending Prop 8 appeal in the 9th Circuit, a 9th Circuit denial of rehearing or en banc review in an important HIV privacy case where the federal government may try to take it to the Supreme Court, and a NY federal judge's smack-down of the city government in a pending false arrest case against the police department concerning their "strategy" of entraping gay men into prostitution charges in order to try to shut down adult businesses as public nuisances....  More to follow on all of these over the next day or two as I find the time to squeeze them in....
