On August 1, 2006, New York Law School broke ground for a new academic building, to be constructed on the old parking lot site at 57 Worth Street. Dean Richard A. Matasar, Board Chair Arthur Abbey, and other trustees, faculty, and staff attended the early morning ceremony. Following the construction of the new building, the existing A, B, and C buildings will be completely renovated. The entire project is expected to take approximately five years to complete.
